Good point - I had a vague idea nihilistic_kid was influential, because his name sounded familiar, but I don't follow him myself. From there, the word spreading was pretty much inevitable. I feel like these days, though, even as the Internet continues its exponential growth and it gets harder to stand out, a wider swath of society has better access to somebody relatively influential - or at least the tools are out there.
