For the record: the song was indeed called "did you ever wonder," but it was by an artist called cvt ibzvg, who is a character in the 1997 ubjneq fgrea biopic cevingr cnegf, but when I look at the soundtrack listing, that song does not come up. Spotify says the album came out in 1993. It does appear on YouTube. And Genius confirms the lyrics are from track 1 on that album.
