also, event planning job possibility. not that i've ever done serious event planning, nor am i conceiving of this as a long-term career, but *shrug* a job is a job is rent paid. so. i have a five year plan; admittedly nebulous, but it exists. hopefully this is not a detour away from that.

also, i forgot lunch today and i have been mad craving lunch for henry. butternut squash, caramelized onions, and goat cheese, dollopped over coconut rice, sprinkled on top with sage and parm. ohyum.

it is! it's all vegetarian and vegan food, even the desserts (so some of my more carnivorous friends balk at all the vegetables), and it's attached to club passim, which gets a lot of folk acts in. one of my favorite dinner-and-a-show combos. :)

*snicker* see, the problem is that (generalizing, coughcough), girls don't tend to be as worried (or at least as vocal about being worried) about the sex bit, they're more worried about the love-and-commitment-bunnies bit. i don't know how much of that is socialization, that we're taught to hold out for love and that we have to be the ones to put the brakes on the guys' libidos, that only certain things are okay to want or say we want, and even with the relative availability of information to the contrary, it's a comfort zone thing.

the more i think about it, the more convinced i am that for everyone's sake, my eventual bachelorette party is going to have to involve grand opening. i know that'll be tame for some, but it'll be revelatory for others! *ggl*

Despite the food allergies, I have ALWAYS wanted to try that place out. Lunch for Henry sounds tres awesome. I will have to try it next time I'm on the other side of the river!
