I am drooling over the IDEA of a choir with thirty basses.

Not just the idea of thirty men, the idea that a choir has thirty men. Yes, it is offical I am a choir dork.

20-odd years later, still in a choir with 30+ men, but oddly enough, we have 20 tenors and only 11 basses. Probably recruiting heavily for basses come mid-season! And, surprisingly, sopranos; we're at 19, but we have 27 altos!
