* shiva deals anima 6200 damage.
[UrsaMajor] *irate* shiva, wtf?! diamond dust is supposed to do at LEAST 9999 in damage!
* anima goes into overdrive, and brutally batters shiva to death in a 45-second sequence
* UrsaMajor snores. get on with it.
* shiva dies/is sent back to the aeon rest home.
* yuna reappears.
* lulu reappears.
* auron reappears, and draws his sword.
* auron deals anima a paltry 250-hp bruise, which finally causes the beast to die.
[Seymour] that power that defeated anima - it will be mine!

Heh, when I was fighting Ultimecia in FF VIII I summoned Cactuar, and his 10,000 Needles attack was supposed to do 9999 damage (obviously), which it didn't (about 4000 damage). So I got mad and gave up on the damn GFs.

I [heart] Auron's sword -- at least, until you get his ultimate weapon, which is so ludicrous as to be just plain ugly. Oh, hell, [heart] Auron in general. What a sweetie.

They now have the really big 1/8th statue of Auron, and he's in the box, staring out at the world -- without his sunglasses. I looked at the box for nearly a full minute before I figured out exactly what was wrong. I mean, I can understand making his glasses removable, but ... shipping him without them? Horrors!

I would add him to my Bookshelf Guardian collection, except he's really far too large.
