Last week, we had a brief stretch of warm weather, a glimpse of ephemeral spring before we retreat behind blizzard warnings and snowboots for another month.

And now I'm going to finish off my bowl of chorizo grits and rewatch this week's Amazing Race, mostly for the lulz, somewhat for the pictures of Australian summer on my TV until I can get more good weather here. :)
